Kunstnik Marleen Suvi isikunäitus “Me pole kunagi majas elanud” koondab mastaapsesse installatsiooni 16 suureformaadilist lõuendit, mille fookuses on mälu ja ühe perekonna lugu.

Marleen Suvi maalid põhinevad kunstniku perekondlikel fotoalbumitel ning näitusel joonistub kuraator Aleksander Metsamärdi sõnul välja kaks peamist keset. Foto alusel loodud maalidest tulenev suhe mälu ja mälukandjate vahel ning installatsiooni vormist tulenev eramaja temaatika ning sellega seostuv ajastuspetsiifiline kontekst.

Kahe teema ristumispunktist leiame kunstniku enda, kes intiimselt isikliku, paradoksaalselt üldinimliku sügavusega pakub sissevaadet enda mälestustesse.
