Kuberner saatis rahvuskaardi New Yorgi metroosse korda looma | Välismaa

USA ärikeskuse metroos on kuritegevus ja vägivald tõusuteel ning New Yorgi osariigi kuberner teatas, et saadab sinna seetõttu rahvuskaardi sõjaväelased.

Kuberner Kathy Hochul teatas kolmapäeval, et saadab metroosse politseile appi 750 rahvuskaardi liiget, kes hakkavad siis metroos patrullima. Samuti hakatakse metroo külastajate kotte kontrollima, vahendas The Telegraph.  

Kuberneri sõnul on tegemist heidutusega, et inimesed ei plaaniks tuli- või külmrelva metroosse tuua. Rahvuskaardi liikmed ei tohi inimesi vahistada, kuid nad saavad aidata politseid, kes inimesi vahistavad.
