Paul Aron (Hitech Pulse-Eight) lõpetas vormel-2 sarja Suurbritannia GP põhisõidu 12. kohal, jäi sel hooajal esmakordselt punktideta ning loovutas ühtlasi sarja liidripositsiooni.

Aron põrkas kohe põhisõidu alguses kokku Joshua Dürkseniga, pidi boksis rehve vahetama ning ära kandma ka kümnesekundilise ajakaristuse. Eestlane suutis esimeseks tõusta, aga pidi etapi lõpus taas boksi minema, et reeglitepäraselt nii-öelda “ära kanda” ka teine rehvisegu.

Seetõttu langes Aron lõpuks 12. kohale, kaotust esikoha teeninud Isack Hadjarile (Campos Racing) kogunes 33,2 sekundit. Teise koha sai lõpetas Zane Maloney (Rodin Motorsport; +1,6) ja kolmanda Jak Crawford (Dams Lucas Oil; +1,8).

Suurbritannias sel hooajal esimest korda punktideta jäänud Aron langes nüüd ka F2 sarja üldarvestuses teisele kohale. Hadjaril on uue liidrina 133 punkti, Aron kaotab talle 16 punktiga. Kolmandal kohal oleval Maloneyl on 101 punkti. Järgmine etapp sõidetakse kahe nädala pärast Ungaris Hungaroringil.
