Prantslane lõi Wimbledoni avaringis 51 serviässa | Tennis

Õnneliku kaotajana Wimbledoni põhiturniirile pääsenud maailma 58. reket Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard võitis Wimbledoni avaringis ameeriklast Sebastian Kordat (ATP 21) viiesetilises põnevusmängus seisuga 7:6 (5), 6:7 (7), 7:6 (6), 6:7 (7), 6:3. Prantslane lõi viie seti jooksul koguni 51 serviässa.

20-aastane prantslane võitis mängu jooksul kokku 186 punkti, millest 51 tulid serviässadest ehk ligikaudu iga neljas võidetud punkt tuli edukast servist. Korda lõi viie seti peale kokku 18 serviässa ning tegi neli topeltviga. Prantslase arvele jäi kümme topeltviga. Mpetshi Perricard lõi mängu jooksul kokku 93 äralööki ning tegi 45 lihtviga. Korda numbrid olid vastavalt 52 ja 28. 

Prantslasest sai sellega seitsmes tennisist, kes on ühe mängu jooksul löönud vähemalt 50 serviässa. Rekord kuulub John Isnerile, kes on ühe mängu jooksul löönud 113 serviässa, teisel kohal on selles arvestuses Nicolas Mahut 103 serviässaga ning kolmas Ivo Karlovic 78 serviässaga. 

Teises ringis kohtub Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard maailma 90. reketi Yoshihito Nishiokaga, kes oli avaringis parem portugaalasest Nuno Borgesist.
