Delfi Rally Estoniale Läti ja Soome MM-etappideks valmistuma tulnud Ott Tänaku – Martin Järveoja (Hyundai) laupäev lõppes kiirelt ja ebameeldivalt. 2019. aasta maailmameistrid tegid esimesel pikemal kiiruskatsel avarii.

Tänakul läks ühel kiirel hüppel auto käest ning see käis üle katuse. Tänak ja Järveoja jäid võrdlemisi terveks, aga sel nädalavahetusel nad enam ei sõida, vahendab Delfi.

Reedesel ainsal katsel, Tartu lähistel peetud publikukatsel, näitas Eesti meistrivõistluste arvestuses sõitnud Tänak kiireimat aega.

Sündmuspaigal käinud Urmo Aava kommenteeris ralliraadiole (Duo Raadiole): “Väga ei taha kommenteerida, eks nad räägivad ise. Kostis arvamust, et auto tegi mingeid imelikke käike. Ilmselt mingi üllatus diferentsiaaliga. Legend ja sõidujoon olid muidu õiged.”

Auto väljanägemist arvestades on Tänak ja Järveoja ise enam-vähem terved.
