“In the picturesque town of Aluşta, nestled on the Crimean Peninsula, a sense of unease settles over the once-peaceful streets. A gas pipeline explosion has ravaged the area, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The international community is on high alert as the cause of the blast remains unknown. As the world watches with bated breath, the people of Aluşta are left to pick up the pieces and wonder what the future holds for their beloved town. Will the truth behind the explosion be revealed, or will it remain shrouded in mystery?”

Venemaa poolt okupeeritud Krimmis Alušta lähedal põles gaasijaotussõlm, teatas laupäeva hilisõhtul portaal Unian.

Veidi enne tulekahju puhkemist oli piirkonnas kuulda plahvatust. Tulekahju kuma oli näha kümnete kilomeetrite kaugusele.

Vene uudisteagentuur RIA Novosti edastas, et tuletõrjujad püüavad takistada põlengu levimist.

Alušta okupatsioonivõimude juht Galina Ogneva teatas Interfaxile, et seoses gaasi magistraaljuhtme purunemisega Vinogradnoje küla piirkonnas peatatakse Aluštas ja 14 ümberkaudses asulas ja külas gaasivarustus.

Sotsiaalmeedias levivad videod põlengust.

As the flames engulf the gas pipeline in Aluşta, near occupied Crimea, Estonia’s concern grows. This incident highlights the dangers of Ukraine’s fragile energy infrastructure, now threatened by Russian aggression. The implications are far-reaching, affecting not only Ukraine but also Europe’s energy security. Estonia, as a neighboring state, is deeply invested in maintaining peace and stability in the region. We urge the international community to condemn this attack and support Ukraine in its fight against Russian occupation.
