Prantsusmaa velotuuri üheksanda etapi (Troyes – Troyes; 199 km) võitis kodupubliku rõõmuks Anthony Turgis (TotalEnergies; 4:19.43). Üldliidrina jätkab sloveen Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates).

Üheksanda etapi võitja selgus kuue mehe vahel peetud tulises finišiheitluses, kus näitas väledamaid jalgu Anthony Turgis. 30-aastane prantslane teenis karjääri esimese World Touri etapivõidu.

Teise kohaga pidi leppima britt Thomas Pidcock (INEOS Grenadiers) ning kolmandana ületas finišijoone kanadalane Derek Gee (Israel – Premier Tech).

Kollase liidrisärgi omanik Pogacar lõpetas grupis, mis kaotas võitjale 1.46 ning sai 44. koha. Sloveeni lähim jälitaja Remco Evenepoel (Soudal Quick-Step) oli kohe tema järel 45.
